FECICH VI 2013

Another day, another festival in Chile that ends in a sweet note. I had the pleasure to be able to attend this festival last wednesday, I travelled for the day to Quilpué, where this was taking place for a special reason. I’ve been working with a friend putting his short film in festivals, and he was selected for the Short Films Competition, and since he couldn’t attend to the only screening that was going to be of the short itself. I went, had lunch with some of the people who attended and came back. The organization was great and I loved the people, and then we had the news that the short won the prize of the Young Jury, with a money prize that was amazing for the director. Another highlight of this festival is that I saw every feature film that played in it, making this the first completed festival that I’ve been to (mostly because I’ve seen all the films that this festival had beforehand in other festivals or in cinemas). I hope this festival grows in the future!

So, without further ado, here are the movies that played at the festival, they have links to previous reviews that I’ve written, as well as a translation of the titles (if available), the competition or lineup in which it played and a rating. So, enjoy!
